The vertical ring stacker is a classic Montessori material that isolates the particular skill of removing and replacing the rings on the dowel by keeping the shapes and colors consistent.  
This stacking/unstacking activity is developmentally appropriate for children ages 10 months and up. This is a wonderful material for enhancing your child's fine motor control, hand-eye coordination and development of your little ones grasp.
