The Montessori bell cylinder is made of Oak and hardwood dowels, with two silver bells in the center. This activity can be introduced to infants as soon as they are engaging in purposeful grasping, around 3 months.
Little ones love grasping onto this toy and learning to change it between their hands. As they move, they notice the jingling of the bells.
Soon, they are able to cause the bell to jingle on purpose.
When they are ready to begin crawling, the bell cylinder is a wonderful toy to entice them to move forward. Your little one will love crawling to this toy, chasing it, and jingling it with pride.
